Isabella Ridge in the North Cascades in Washington State, 40 minutes before sunrise. I am blown away every time I see what camera sensors can record these days. It wasn't pitch black when I shot this, but it was definitely dark. But the faint, pre-sunrise light was beginning to illuminate the top of the ridge, with warm light contrasting with the cool tones of twilight, which was really amazing to witness. Extra points if you can spot the tent!
Beautiful, golden light in the early morning, deep in the Olympic Forests
